About Us

Our Story

The Hyderabad based Confederation of Indian Dalit Industry was established in 2020 by Mr. Rajasekhar Yerrathota a Civil Engineer by profession having worked in the Minor Irrigation Department of undivided Andhra Pradesh, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, so on and so forth and an entrepreneur. Rajasekhar Yerrathota is the current Chairman of the organization, the tentacles of which are by being recognized by the Union Ministry of MSME’s, Union Ministry of Finance, Reserved Bank of India, Dept., of Public Enterprises, CMD’s of all PSU’s and various state governments as a frontal organization working for the requisite policy changes for the MSMED Act 2006 of the Government of India and sensitizing 28 state governments to issue the relevant executive orders guarantying the Relaxations and Concessions to the MSME’s owned by the SC/ST entrepreneurs as guaranteed in the MSMED Act 2006 of the Government of India.

CIDI is also batting for the shaping up of the SC – ST Hubs in all the 28 states to oversee the procurement to the SC/ST’s.

The activities promoted by CIDI centers around works and services. The works preponderably falls within the domain of the infrastructure sector.

CIDI’s tagline explains its philosophy: Be the employer not the employees.

Mode of Functioning:

The Dalit Business chapter strongly feels that steadfast, intense and vociferous submissions of facts are to be made to the Government authorities to effect the policy changes and policy formulations as the institutions / organizations always cherish the status quo in the 3rd world nation(s).

Foolproof submissions of the statistics explaining the injustice will crack the nut.

AIM

CIDI – Aims at creating 16,00,000 entrepreneurs in the next coming 10 years in the Indian subcontinent taking 1 year and 1 district as a unit ( 10 years X 807 districts X 200 entrepreneurs = 16,06,000 ).

Objective

The twin objectives of the Dalit business chapter are : Creation, Nurturing and Promotion of MSME’s owned by the SC/ST entrepreneurs and accessing them to the seamless credit flow will go a long way in mitigating the crisis of unemployment among the SC/ST’s.

Vision

Confederation of Indian Dalit Industry was established on 30th June 2020 to promote entrepreneurial skills among SC/ST’s by sensitizing the authorities to implement MSMED Act 2006 of the Government of India which will work as an alternative model of creating employment to the under privileged sections without even a single rupee additional burden to the Government (s).

Mission

To motivate the Dalit / Adivasi youth to venture into the process of procurement make business and to contribute to the GDP of the economy which is poised to reach the 3rd biggest by 2030.
